Description Fest 2010-04-19 15:55:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Right now, we can assign only one photo source to contact. No matter how many subcontacts it have, it will use only one.

My idea is to assign photo only to metacontact and subcontacts will use their own photos from network.

What the point of that ? We can still recognize contact in list by given photo and can track his avatars changes.

What the problem with only one photo for contact ? It can help to avoid situation like that:
Entering facebook (gmail or etc) and see contacts new avatar - first impression is: "Who the hell is that ? I don't know him. Aaaa it's "name".

Implementation:
Avatar shown in contact list is chosen (address book/from contact/custom),it shows on contact's hover. On network sign (icq flower or etc) hover show contacts own avatar. On changes it (network sign) get additional icon beside. Something like same sign with "!".
