Description Luca Zorzo 2010-04-19 12:09:55 UTC
Version: tested with 4.4.2 - 4.4.1 - 4.3.5 (using KDE 4.4.2)
Compiler: gcc-4.3.4 -march=native -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

When you click and drag an icon, a lancelot panel, a button in the taskbar or a plasmoid from its menu (and others of course) mouse looses its theme and looks like the default X cursor. It doesn't happen with windows and plasmoids themselves, but with this second ones, when you move them, arrow shouldn't be the normal one.
Tested with 4.3.5 and 4.4.1. Others reported that this happens also with 4.4.2. Default settings, tested both with oxygen themes and obsidian one.

I can confirm this problem using openSUSE KDE 4.4.2 packages. And iirc it has been there throughout the KDE4 series.

I think it's most easily reproduced by simply dragging a file or folder in Dolphin or Konqueror.
