Hi, please have a look at the settings dialog Settings -> Configure KMail -> Appearance There is a tab for the systray icon where you can change it to your preferred setting. Regards |
Version: 1.13.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-20-generic Hello, I would love to see a feature to "hide" the KMail tray icon if there are no new mails. I know there is a feature to completely remove it when there are no new mails, but I would much prefer if the icon was hidden like the printer-applet is. (It is always visible if I click < in the tray icon area but when there are some printing jobs it will be visible without clicking < too) Here is an example how it could look like: ("closed" tray icon area /// "opened" tray icon area) no new mail: <(Other Icons) /// >(Other Icons)(KMail) new mail: <(Other Icons)(KMail: 1) /// >(Other Icons)(KMail: 1)
