I notice a pretty high CPU usage of ca. 80% of the Xorg process while moving mails (in my case ca. 10.000 mails). This abruptly stops when the mail move is done.

Cannot reproduce and I don't really see why xorg would be affected. 

Hint: if you're able to reproduce the high xorg cpu usage issue, try to disable the desktop effects.
