I have 1 cdom drive and 1 dvd drive.
Dragon Player will not "Play Disk" unless some media is loaded into both drives.

Dragon Player plays audo from cdrom or video from dvd, but only after both drives have a media loaded.

If there is audio media in both drives, "Play Disk" offers the selections:
Audio CD
Audio CD
and will only play the disk in the cdrom drive regarless of which selection is chosen.

It should allow to play when only one drive has the media loaded.

I Have phonon xine backend. Xine can play appropriate media in either drive only requiring media to be loaded in the one drive. Xine includes capability to play audio media in dvd drive.

Bangarang works fine with media loaded in just 1 drive.

Please use Phonon VLC or Phonon GStreamer.
