Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

Quite often text the user enters isn't wrapped correctly in the chat window.  On a given line, the rightmost word seems to be painted, then only partially erased, then wrapped to the next line.  See the attached screenshot.

Confirming bug still exists in Kopete 1.8.3 (KDE 4.14.8).

On that place is animated icon when sending message. After message is sent icon disappear. This looks like a problem that background under that icon is not rendered again after icon disappear... I have no idea where is problem (maybe it is something in KDE/Qt libraries).

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
