Description Sandro 2010-04-07 10:49:31 UTC
Version: 1.1.0 (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

I have digikam installed on ArchLinux and my pictures stored RAID1 disk couple with NTFS (ASUS driveExpert feature, the hard disk figures like a unique drive); the drive is mounted using ntfs-3g in read/write mode infact I can delete pictures from digikam, but if I try to rotate the image both from the thumbnail and from the preview it fails.

This bug is typically fixed in kipi-plugins 1.2.0. Please update and try again.

Note : by the same way, update digiKam to 1.2.0 too...

Dear Gilles Caulier,

One hour ago I have updated all my archlinux, KDE is the 4.4.2 and digikam
is the 1.2.0, the kipiplugins are the last version but I still have the
"Failed to rotate image" problem. Instead in the photo editor I can rotate
the image.

Thanks in advance for helping!

Sandro,

This file still valid using kipi-plugins 2.4 ?

This entry is fixed now with digiKam 2.6.0 where a dedicated implementation is
used to rotate/flip image. We don't use ImageMagick to transform images.

digiKam 2.6.0 disabled JPEGLOSSLESS kipi-plugin.
