Description James Dent 2010-04-07 01:03:29 UTC
Version: 1.4 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Arch Linux)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-ARCH

It is possible to configure the Folder View plasmoid to hide files that match a certain filter, which is especially useful for avoiding clutter introduced by backup files (~*) and, in my case, auxiliary files (*.aux, *.bbl, *.log, *.blg).

It would be great if Dolphin could match this feature, as files like this are almost never directly interacted with by the user and thus cause unneccesary clutter.
