Install digiKam and kipi-plugins 1.2.0. There is a tool to export album using KDE KIOSlave (as FTP, NFS, Samba, or remote drive) Gilles Caulier Moreover albums are simply folders on your hard disc so that you can use your normal file manager for copying. Thanks for the prompt response. I agree my installation of libkipi and kipi-plugins falls behind development.I do not see the KIO exports. Will that allow me to export to a local folder? If not,can that be added? Coming to Johannes observation,he is right. But when a search is saved as an album, will that be still available as a folder on hard-disk?I think not.Export to local folder will come in handy then.I am trying to print only a subset of the import from a single day.I put a filter and then saved that filter as album. Please change status at your discretion. KIOExport is called "Export to remote computer" in the export menu but can also be used for your local disk. Parameshwara, This entry still valid ? Gilles Caulier Hi, I have not used digikam in a long while, so will not be able to tell. You may remove the bug and if faced anytime, will re-file. Thanks, |
