The locking mechanism seems to have two levels: 1) widgets -- kidney menu of the desktop-bar (bar with window list, systray, etc) 2) page -- kidney menu of the search-and-execute activity If (1) is locked, the "unlock page" button in (2) is displayed in the kidney menu, but clicking it has no effect.
