xsession errors
I figured out that my /var partition had filled up with package cache. After expanding it I'm back in KDE heaven. I loaded up Gnome to have a desktop until I figured out what the problem was. Gnome actually warned me about the full /var partition. That would probably be a nice check for KDE to do. Merging with bug 230170.
