The KDE 4.3 version had checkboxes to selectively enable address book resources.  These are missing in the KDE 4.4 version.

Please reference bug 233078 for discussion on why this should be considered a regression and not a new feature request.

Hej,

in KDE 4.4 contacts are visible per folder, so you don't have to
enable/disable single resources to show/hide their content.

There is another bug (#226383) which complains about the fact that
not all contacts can be seen at once. If this will be implemented,
the checkboxes might become necessary again, but currently they are not.
