I can't connect to my Yahoo account, using kopete 1.0.0 in KDE 4.4 and Kubuntu 9.10.

I get "error 14 - operation not supported" message in Kopete when I try to connect to Yahoo IM. The process takes a long time trying to connect, and fails.

KDE v4.4.3
OS - openSUSE 11.3 milestone3
Kernel - 2.6.34-8-default

Can the priority of the bug be bumped up a bit please, this completely blocks connectivity to the Yahoo IM protocol.

Could this bug be related to #200945 ?

I cannot connect to yahoo, but MSN connects. I have tried changing the settings, nothing works. Please advise.

Hello from the KDE Bugsquad!

Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the Yahoo Messenger service, and the code has been removed from Kopete.

Thus, I am closing this bug as "UNMAINTAINED" since it will no longer be fixable, or able to operate due to Yahoo.
