Same problem happening under FreeBSD 8.0/amd64 and fedora 11/x86_64, krunner became very unresponsive for launching applications. Very troublesome :s I can confirm this bug on my Debian unstable laptop. Since the upgrade to kde 4.4.3, krunner has been very slow starting an application. Besides being slow reacting, krunner crashes quite often, even if the application gets started successfully after waiting for 20-30 seconds. It seems it's been fixed in KDE 4.5 beta. Could you please backport the fix to Debian-Squeeze? Else I would have to live with that annoying bug for some years ... |
