i have 3 smtp account

videotron
godaddy
sfr

sfr is my default account

when i try to send an email, i get error because kmail try to use videotron accound and my provider block it.. at home i can only use my sfr account
so sfr is my default account why kmail try to use videotron account?
maybe because is the first one in the list?

You know that you can tell kmail which outgoing transport should be used when sending a mail?

Same to me. My KMail-1.13.5 (KDE 4.6.2) mixes up the SMTP accounts as well.

If I change the server for outgoing mails from the standard to any other (e.g. server ABC) KMail will try to log on to the standard server with username and password from the server chosen by me (ABC).

Reproducible at any time when sending emails with servers for outgoing mails being not the standard.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
