Version:           1.4 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Mandriva Linux release 2010.0 (Official) for x86_64)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.12-desktop-3mnb

Running dolphin as root, and then double clicking in a text file i get this error message:

KDEInit could not launch '/usr/bin/kwrite'.

So i debug it and here is the problem:

(gdb) dolphin(28076)/kdeui (KNotification) KNotification::slotReceivedIdError: Error while contacting notify daemon "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)"
