Description Mark Purcell 2010-03-27 05:37:53 UTC
Version: 1.13.1 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-trunk-686

My wishlist is for an additional grouping in the kmail aggregation options.

That is to allow aggregation "By Sender Domain".

Currently only six aggregation grouping options are presented:

None
By Exact Date
By Smart Date
By Smart Sender/ Receiver
By Sender
By Receiver

Use Case:

When dealing with multiple people from the same organisation, one will often end up with many messages from sue@example.com, john@example.com, ...

Aggregation Grouping by sender domain would allow these to be grouped together:

> example.com (5 messages)
> nonprofit.org (10 message)
> agency.gov (5 messages)
...

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
