Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

When the same action is performed on multiple mails one entry per mail is created in the progress bar list (at the bottom right of kmail GUI).

This is particulary annoying if an action is performed on a lot of mails because KMail' memory consumption can explode and becomes too slow. This always appears if I move or delete several thousand of mails.

My suggest would be to create only one progress bar by kind of action with that kind of message "Moving 324 mails from directory aaa to directory bbb" or "Deleting 3677 mails".

This could appear when multiple mails are selected before doing the action but also when one action is repeated mail by mail (for instance pressing multiple times the delete key)

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
