Description Robert Riemann 2010-03-23 18:44:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

I am not sure if this is the right place to report bugs for akonadi...

The akonadi googledata modules require in its settings the account information.

There is a little hint, that to the given username "@gmail.com" will be append, but the german google mail accounts have the prefix "@googlemail.com" due to patent issues.

Either the hint is misleading or it is wrong.

Yes, this text is still there in
Version: KDE 4.4.3
                akonadi-googledata 1.0.1-2.5
Installed from: openSUSE 11.2 RPMs

I got a password error, is that because my google account ends with @googlemail.com ?
Comment 2 Robert Riemann 2010-06-16 01:47:44 UTC
is this fixed already in recent kde?
Comment 3 Alexey Shildyakov 2010-08-02 10:14:19 UTC
Is this bug apply only pattient issue? Or you have not worked Akonadi Google syncing?
If you see "invalid password" error, please check bugs 204165, 216817 and 230826.
