Kopete uses external libgadu in KDE 4 since r909144. The minimum version is 1.8.0. It shouldnt be resolved. Maybe Kopete uses external GG, but still it isnt have support for all this features i wrote in my first post Ive done some research. Changing only two constans in declaration of GG protocol version in Kopete, that it is GG8> capable, resolves some of this problems - i see peoples with newer GG numbers, i can contact them both ways, i also see full status messages. Ive not encountered any bugs, but they are possible, because GG8> sends messages in different encoding (but as i said, everything worked for me without any bug), so someone more experienced should look at this. Unfortunatelly i couldnt patch Kopete to use new statuses, ive added new status types everywhere i could find status type declarations in GG plugin, still i cannot see or set new status types. Also not sending/not reciving messages problem is still issue with Kopete and GG support |
