Version:           1.13.1 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-20-generic

setup kmail not to sent email immediately but to keep them in outbox until manually sending them out

create a new mail with dest / object / message text
clic on send

the outbox indicates 1 new mail

now edit the mail in the outbox, then send it again
the outbox indicates 2 new mails ==> SHOULD STILL BE 1

get into another folder than back in the outbox
the outbox indicates 1 new mails ==> THIS IS NOW OK

now go to outbox and delete the mail in the outbox
the outbox indicates 1 new mail ==> SHOULD BE NONE

Confirmed also with KDE PIM 4.4.7 (kmail 1.13.5)

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
