I had ~10 tabs open at the time, most with plenty of stuff in the scrollback buffer.

I was probabaly either clicking in the console area or switching tasks when it crashed.

This could be a Qt or X11 issue. Is this reproducible for you ?

Please try a recent version preferable 4.6.x.
