Could you detail: - How many files they were (a few big files, or a lot of medium/small ones with lots of subfolders) - Which filesystems do you use - Do you used some special kioslave/protocol Regards They were a lot of 2Mb-10Mb files with lot of subdirectories, both were ext3 filesystems and I just copy/paste files with konqueror, I think I didn't use any special protocol. File transfer was done between an internal hard disk to a USB hard drive. Is this still an issue for you in the latest stable KDE release, v4.10 or higher?
