Sentry Crash Report:

Description Matthias Fuchs 2010-03-17 23:04:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

Notifications do not reflect changes in Capabilities of underlying jobs.
E.g. the underlying job supports "Killable" only at first and once it has made sure that it can also resume it changes the capabilities to "Killable | Resumeable".

Yet the notification does not reflect this change and still only shows the stop button, instead of showing both the stop and the pause button.

Are you speaking of new Plasma notifications (embedded into systray), or old style (separate window) notifications?
Comment 2 Matthias Fuchs 2010-03-18 11:46:22 UTC
Yes of the plasma notificiations.

Though it appears that the old notifications always show the pause button despite what capabilities had been set for the job.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have resolved this bug.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
