amarok version 2.3.0

step to reproduce:
remove all applets in the context menu and then add an "info" applet and restart amarok.

expected behavior:
amarok starting normally

observed behavior:
amarok crashes.

Removing "amarok_homerc" and "amarok-appletsrc" from $KDEHOME/share/config/ starts up amarok again but all applets are set to default again

Yes, this is a known problem in Qt, the bug has already filed upstream, not much we can do about this unless a patch is released from upstream and integrated in your distribution.

FWIW, please do not forget to provide a backtrace if you report crashes.
