What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was downloading some aurora themes from the built in GUI.  I then closed the download new themes window and proceeded to actually use the themes, but the program crashed before I got a chance

The version of Aurorae shipped in Kubuntu Karmic (package kwin-style-aurorae) is completely unsupported as Aurorae has been moved to kwin in KDE 4.4. If you are able to reproduce with 4.4 please paste a new backtrace. It is very likely that this crash has been fixed for 4.4.

The backtrace provided here is missing the debug information and AFAIK kubuntu does not offer a debug package for kwin-style-aurorae so there is no way to get a useful backtrace.
