Description Alex 2010-03-15 21:17:21 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Consider this scenario:
 * Open dictionary
 * search something
 * select the window with the results
 * press insert to insert a new row

The newly added row is added but not shown because it does not match the currently active search filter. So one thinks that the program "missed" the ins key and keeps pressing it, adding more empty, hidden lines.

Solution should be one of the following:
 * clear search box while inserting new row
 * keep the text on the search box but disable it's functionality until someone re-edit the string or press enter to reactivate it
