Could you please install the debugging symbols for Phonon and try to reproduce this crash again? It looks more like a problem with Phonon than with Amarok. Please see also here on how to get a valid backtrace: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Ok I'll install phonon debugging symbols and send new report. But there's another point. Amarok stuck in infinite loop while try to play dynamic playlist where all files have missing paths, and then Amarok get crushed. New crash information added by DrKonqi
More info: Amarok stuck in infinite loop while try to play
dynamic playlist where all files have missing paths, and then Amarok get
crushed.
Sugestion (maybe not as good as I think): for example: automatic stop playing after 10 errors found.

As for the Dynamic Playlist Loop: please check out Amarok 2.3 final due this week and try again, else please file a different report. It is certainly not related to this one. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 196320 *** Original crash looks a bit more like bug 207579, imo. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 207579 *** |
