Hello & thanks for making kmail better & better ;)

I just had to find a mail within approx. 50,000 messages spread
over ca. 40 folders (I have a huge local archive).

I thought this could be done in seconds, because I knew
the exact content of the To-field! Accordingly I searched for
"To-Field equals ...".

Probably, compressed folders are the heaviest load here,
as it took approx. 1 minute / 1000 messages --
after felt 5 minutes there was a hit (having searched 5000 messages then).

*SUGGESTIONs* for improvement:
- Search favorite folders with higher priority (before non-favs)
- Introduce time range (before DATE / after DATE)
- or just a switch: limit search to recent messages (i.e. 2 weeks)

What do you think?
Regards
Ralf
