Application that crashed: kdevelop.bin

What I was doing when the application crashed:
This crash occured as I tried to follow up on the advice I received on Bug 230397, which I reported earlier.

I was informed that the problem lies in "a binary incompatibility between the plugins and libraries".

In response to this bug (Bug 230397) I was advised to remove all kdevelop libraries and plugins, which I did using "sudo rm /usr/local/*kdev*.so" and "sudo rm /usr/local/kde4/*kdev*.so".  I then removed  the build directories of both kdevelop and kdevplatform, recompiled and rebuilt both kdevelop and kdevplatform anew.

I still noticed the same problem I reported in Bug 230397. I opened the same project and closed it several times, where the crash then took place.

I am not sure how I can be sure that I removed all the incompatible libraries and pluggins through.
