Sentry Crash Report:

Description Silver Salonen 2010-03-12 12:26:51 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.4.1)
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

I use remote .ics file in KOrganizer. I now had a problem that the file got broken somehow. KOrganizer didn't say anything about it, but just showed no todos or meetings. It took me a while to figure out that the file is broken. It would make sense to report invalid calendars etc, eg. by showing a red exclamation mark next to calendar or smth. Hovering over the sign would then say what the problem is (eg. file parsing error).

In command line KOrganizer reports though:

korganizer(27138)/kdepimlibs (kcal) KCal::ResourceRemote::slotLoadJobResult: success
korganizer(27138)/kdepimlibs (kcal) KCal::ICalFormat::load: "/var/tmp/kdecache-silver/kcal/kresources/rdESJWG7zv"
korganizer(27138)/kdepimlibs (kcal) KCal::ICalFormat::fromRawString: parse error

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
