Description a.roar 2010-03-11 21:19:15 UTC
Version: 2.2.2 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Arch Linux)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-ARCH

In a large music collection it is nearly impossible to remember which songs were added lastly. To get recent songs i have to filter by the tags provided by my songs. These tags must exist and if they do they are very imprecise (song is for example from 2009). But i want to hear songs that were added to my library the e.g. the last 3 months or the last 100 added songs (or songs that that match the actual music charts :-) )
Im think Amarok 1 had a feature like that (except that one with the music charts)...

Did you try to search the collection with added:<3m in the search field of the collection browser??
Comment 2 a.roar 2010-03-12 20:09:41 UTC
No i didn't know about that but it works :-)
Would be nice to add this feature in the dropdown menu of the dialog that appears on the "edit filter" button next to the search field.
And of course all the other not documented keywords ;-)

Yes, that should be done soon. Changing the title accordingly and pushing to bugs list so it is in our direct focus.
