Description MR 2010-03-10 15:18:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

There should be a way to synchronise bookmarks within Rekonq on different computers. I am not really sure, but as far as I understood Mozillas Weave (http://mozillalabs.com/weave/) could be used.

Especially by thinking of KDE on mobile devices like netbooks this would make absolutely sense. Speaking for me: I am using this a lot with Firefox and this would prevent me from switching.

Maybe this is not even a Rekonq specific thing, but points more to an Akonadi Weave-plugin.

I definitely second that ... I've been using weave with firefox for quite some time now and I couldn't live without it anymore :-)

Not only Akonadi (if Akonadi would handle bookmarks...), but also KWallet for the passwords. I created bug #242706 on that matter.
