Description jm 2010-03-10 12:11:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.5)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

I'm using KMail 1.12.4 under KDE 4.3.5-0.1.4 x86_64 and OS Linux 2.6.31.12-0.1-desktop x86_64, system 11.2 (x86_64).

For about 1 week, KMail refuses to send any message anymore, answering : "Transport by "fc585646" is not valid" (translation from the French message : "Le transport "fc585646" n'est pas valable".

"fc585646" is my user name at my Belgian provider "Belgacom".

I'm using KMail for about 10 years without any problem but this one is
very annoying. I switched to Thunderbird which works fine but I would prefer to continue using KMail.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
