The backtrace is unfortunately useless. Can you insteall full debug packages and past a more detailed backtrace? When I get a break I'll see If I can get the packages through our firewall, I tend to have trouble with files over 15mb. Anecdotally, It only seems effect my work fedora 12 install, my Kubuntu 4.4 back-ports personal machine (the same or at least similar version) seemed fine. I can confirm or deny this later today.
