Description Maciej Warnecki 2010-03-08 21:36:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.1)
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

I noticed that since I began using Kmail, from time to time it corrupts email subjects:

As you can imagine, I don't write in Chinese.

I didn't really care, but today I got problems with sending my mail (was working nicely before) which propably originated from the same bug:

Today I noticed that sometimes it's not only the email's subject, but its content as well:

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
