OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

when i click on "check messages" the pop-ups on the bottom right corner of kmail tells me the progress of download on each mailbox.

in kde4.4 this is now transparent

Can you please a screenshot? This can be caused by a faulty plasma theme.
