I also have random crashes once or twice an evening. I do nothing particular with kopete (often watching a video) and I get a nice crash report popup... Kubuntu karmic with KDE 4.4.1 installed. Which debug packages should I install in order to provide useful stacktraces? The original crash is fixed for KDE SC 4.4 (bug 219265) @Bastien Jansen: your crash is probably different. You need the "kdenetwork-dbg" package to get a complete trace.
