In case you are trying to install KDE on Windows on many work stations you may use different strategies: 1. Use a local web server Fetch files for example with rsync from a dedicated mirror and save them on a local web server. In the installer mirror dialog you can provide the url of the related local website to download and install from there. 2. Use a network share to install from Fetch files for example with rsync from a dedicated mirror and save them on a local file share In the installer select "install from local path" and use the path on the file share to install files. The issue with unreliable downloaded from sourceforge has been fixed by moving the KDE on Windows distribution 2012 to the KDE mirror infrastructure. |
