You should try to upgrade to KDE 4.4.x (see also http://www.kubuntu.org/node/135) this solves quite some issues with Phonon bugs. Also, the latest stable Amarok available on Kubuntu is 2.2.2: http://kubuntu.org/news/amarok-2.2.2 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 196320 *** |
Application that crashed: amarok Version of the application: 2.2.0 KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2) Qt Version: 4.5.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-17-generic x86_64 Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 What I was doing when the application crashed: It doesnt matter if the player is minimized or windowed, it has a playlist set to random with several songs in it. The crash happens after a song finishes, but before a new one starts. My playlist does have a few links to songs that are no longer there, but it is able to skip over them normally. most of my music is mp3 format so it could be a poor file also. This crash happens quite frequently on my machine.
