Would it be possible to use the slideshow functionality from Gwenview in Digikam?

The digikam slideshow can't play videos, gwenview can. Gwenview also have a nice overview of the pictures when you move the cursor to the top of the screen. Why not take advantage of the gwenview code and use it in digikam if possible. For me the lack of any video capabilities during slideshow, is a real showstopper.
