Some of the kde application I am using, namely kontact, rekonq, dolphin are started twice on restore. Others, such as konsole, do not have the same problem.
For every application that is started twice, one is the application in its saved state, the other is the application in its original state (Dolphin in home directory). If I don't activate restore session in system settings, none of the application are started at all.

I do not have anything in autostart. It started only with kde 4.4. I am not sure a backtrace will be usefull in this case since I do not have any crash (except for kontact when I am closing one)

Can't reproduce the problem with dolphin, rekonq and kontact when using KDE SC 4.9 RC1.

Feel free to reopen the report if the problem still happens in recent versions ( KDE SC 4.8.4 or higher). Thanks.
