I find it hard to distinguish accounts in Kopete.  I have several Jabber accounts (I am considering to switch to a different provider) and the only way to distinguish them seems to be the "Set Color..." option in the Accounts group.

But even with different colors (bight red and black) it remains very difficult to be able to distinguish these accounts as the differences between the different-colored Jabber icons are very subtle.

Furthermore there remain many places where it is not possible to distinguish them at all:

a) When using the context menu for a contact, it shows the different sub-contacts, but there seems no way to tell to which of mine accounts they belong.

b) In a chat window, there seems to be no way to tell which of mine accounts it is using to communicate to the other side.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
