Description tim 2010-02-27 12:08:44 UTC
Version: 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0) (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), 4.4.0-9.fc12 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.12-174.2.22.fc12.x86_64

The javascript-generated menu at http://www.scan.co.uk/ renders incorrectly in Konqueror. The first column is OK, but the second column is offset vertically and subsequent columns anre not visible. This is in KHTML mode. WebKit view mode is much closer to correct (though still has glitches).

Firefox gets it right, for comparison.

Can't confirm, looks fine to me (~4.4.1)
Comment 2 Germain Garand 2010-02-27 17:20:00 UTC
it works for me if I start with a viewport <= 1020
but then gently enlarging it to >1080 it starts to break.

probably overflowing a short somewhere...
Comment 3 tim 2010-02-27 19:38:57 UTC
Yes, agreed this seems to affect it. I run 1600x1200 so my default window is wide enough to break it. I tried with a very narrow window and it looks a lot better.

It's still not *correct* though; the text menu items are drawn over the top of the tabs above them, and some on top of each other.

Expanding the window again makes it return to the way it was.

Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "REPORTED" when replying. Thank you!
Comment 7 tim 2022-12-15 10:40:50 UTC
The website in question has been redesigned several times since 2010, so it's no longer possible to reproduce the issue. The current web site seems to render OK.
