Description Andreas Hartmetz 2010-02-26 20:18:41 UTC
Version: trunk (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.4.1-4ubuntu9
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

After getting notified of a new message by Kopete's animating icon fragments of the Kopete icon show up in the background of other icons, sometimes including the Kopete icon.
Something seems to be amiss with the Konversation icon too, it is sometimes red like I was highlighted when I wasn't. This bug might need to get reassigned to something in kdelibs...

Things that are special about my system:
I'm using the bleeding edge radeon driver from the Ubuntu "x.org crack pushers" repository. The distribution is Kubuntu 9.10 with self-compiled KDE, debugfull with -O1. The architecture is AMD64.

bug # should have been entered wrong in the commit
Comment 4 Andreas Hartmetz 2010-03-07 22:37:32 UTC
It was my intention to close this bug, no typo. AFAICS the corrupted icon backgrounds came from the now fixed memory errors in the systemtray code.
If that turns out to be untrue I can reopen the bug, but the connection seems to be clear.
The Konversation icon flashing when it shouldn't thing was simply a misconfiguration on my computer, that's also "fixed" now.
