May be some application/process is using too much memory/CPU ? - Do you have Desktop Searching enabled ? (check on SystemSettings/Advanced/Desktop Searching) - Do you have nepomuk* or strigi* related processes running on background ? From the stacktrace, it looks very much like it.
Since the corresponding bug in the quicklaunch applet has been fixed with
r110884, I'm closing this report.
