Description Tristan Miller 2010-02-22 16:48:52 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.4.0)
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

In previous versions of KMail it was possible to assign filter keyboard shortcuts to a single key. In KMail 1.13.0 this seems to be no longer possible. Only keys with modifiers (Ctrl, Shift, etc.) can be assigned shortcuts.

Reproducibility: Always

Steps to reproduce:
1. Settings->Configure filters
2. Advanced
3. Shortcut
4. Type any single key.

Observed behaviour:
5. Nothing happens

Expected behaviour:
5. KMail should have assigned that key as a shortcut for the filter.
Comment 1 Martin Koller 2010-02-27 12:29:34 UTC
Confirmed. In kmail/KDE3.5 this was possible.
