Actually, I've done this in Yast->sound, so I don't know if it every worked in this new intallation
It's working for me now as well even though I haven't installed kde 4.4. I ran zypper update today which updated: MozillaFirefox MozillaFirefox-translations-common NetworkManager-kde4 NetworkManager-kde4-libs NetworkManager-openvpn-kde4 NetworkManager-pptp-kde4 NetworkManager-vpnc-kde4 aaa_base akregator ark bovo dolphin ffmpeg gwenview k3b k3b-codecs k3b-lang kaddressbook kbd kcalc kcharselect kcolorchooser kcron kde4-filesystem kde4-kgreeter-plugins kde4-l10n-de kde4-l10n-en_GB kde4-l10n-fr kde4-l10n-it kde4-l10n-pl kde4-l10n-ru kde4-webkitpart kdeartwork4-screensaver kdeartwork4-weatherwallpapers kdebase4 kdebase4-libkonq kdebase4-nsplugin kdebase4-openSUSE kdebase4-runtime kdebase4-runtime-branding-openSUSE kdebase4-runtime-xine kdebase4-workspace kdebase4-workspace-branding-openSUSE kdebase4-workspace-ksysguardd kdegames4 kdegames4-carddecks-default kdegames4-carddecks-other kdegraphics4 kdelibs4 kdelibs4-branding-openSUSE kdelibs4-core kdemultimedia4 kdenetwork4-filesharing kdepasswd kdepim4 kdepim4-wizards kdepimlibs4 kdialog kdm kdm-branding-openSUSE kdnssd keditbookmarks kfind kgamma kget kgpg kinfocenter kio_audiocd kio_kamera kio_sysinfo kio_sysinfo-branding-openSUSE kmag kmahjongg kmail kmines kmix kmousetool knode knotes kompare konqueror konqueror-plugins konqueror-plugins-lang konsole kontact kopete korganizer kpat krdc kreversi krfb kruler kscd ksnapshot ksudoku ksystemlog kupdateapplet kupdateapplet-packagekit kwalletmanager kwin kwrite libakonadi4 libavcodec52 libavdevice52 libavformat52 libavutil50 libkcddb4 libkcompactdisc4 libkdcraw7 libkde4 libkdecore4 libkdegames4 libkdepim4 libkdepimlibs4 libkexiv2-7 libkipi6 libknotificationitem-1-1 libkonq5 libksane0 liboil-0_3-0 libpoppler-glib4 libpoppler-qt4-3 libpostproc51 libswscale0 libvlc2 libvlccore2 libxine1 libxine1-codecs libxine1-gnome-vfs libxine1-pulse marble marble-data mkinitrd mozilla-xulrunner191 mozilla-xulrunner191-gnomevfs mozilla-xulrunner191-kde4 mozilla-xulrunner191-translations-common okteta okular oxygen-icon-theme oxygen-icon-theme-scalable patterns-openSUSE-apparmor patterns-openSUSE-base patterns-openSUSE-enhanced_base patterns-openSUSE-fonts patterns-openSUSE-games patterns-openSUSE-imaging patterns-openSUSE-kde4 patterns-openSUSE-kde4_basis patterns-openSUSE-kde4_games patterns-openSUSE-kde4_imaging patterns-openSUSE-kde4_internet patterns-openSUSE-kde4_multimedia patterns-openSUSE-kde4_office patterns-openSUSE-kde4_pure patterns-openSUSE-kde4_utilities patterns-openSUSE-kde4_yast patterns-openSUSE-multimedia patterns-openSUSE-non_oss patterns-openSUSE-office patterns-openSUSE-sw_management patterns-openSUSE-sw_management_kde4 patterns-openSUSE-x11 patterns-openSUSE-yast2_basis patterns-openSUSE-yast2_install_wf plasma-addons plasma-addons-marble plasma-theme-aya poppler-tools python-kde4 python-kdebase4 sweeper vlc vlc-noX vlc-qt and additionally installed MPlayer libdirac_decoder0 libdv4 libffmpeg0 libquicktime0 smplayer xine-ui xvidcore, no idea which package (or what else) made the difference... It is crashing for me always since I got the 4.4 SuSe Packets. I am running Platform Version 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1) "release 227" I have only one sound card, so I don't think this makes a difference. This crash report is at least 3 years old and there were no further comments or status updates since then. Therefore we believe that this crash is already fixed in recent KDE 4 versions or the backtrace is no longer applicable to the current KDE 4 sources. If the crash still happens with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or 4.11), please add an updated backtrace or provide steps to reproduce. For more information, see http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports (To prevent automatic closing of this bug in the future, please set the bug status to ASSIGNED or CONFIRMED) It is working for me now. Thanks for the update :) I am closing it. |
