Could it be that the Jamendo parser was still running on shutdown? @reporter: can you reproduce the crash that way? I don't seem to be able to reproduce this at all on my system now sorry (I recently upgraded to the kubuntu beta). However I haven't used Jamendo ever so I can't see why the parser would have been running. I've seen this myself many times, with all sorts of HTTP music sources (Ampache, streams, etc). At the core there is a bug in libxine, which we can't do much about. With the new Phonon-VLC backend which is currently in development such problems don't happen any more. Here is some more info about it: http://amarok.kde.org/blog/archives/1171-Rapid-Progress-in-KDE-Multimedia.html http://blogs.fsfe.org/myriam/2010/04/want-to-test-the-phonon-vlc-backend-here-you-go/ *** Bug 243124 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
