Re-Assigning How can this possibly be a ioslave problem ? kio_ftp does not keep any session information and simply retrieves whatever resource it is told to retrieve. It is also not a mystery that connections to remote hosts will be closed after certain period of time when not in use. As such, this is an issue at the application level, i.e. whatever it is that you are using to display filesystem structure in your application. It has nothing to do with kio_ftp. You need to reassign it to the appropriate component. It seems to me like a KFilePlacesModel problem. Assigning to kdelibs. Is this still an issue with KDE Frameworks 5.47?
